Cut out for firebox
Drill and chamfer two top firebox stay holes
Drill and Tap sightglass hole (or bushes)
Drill hole for steam manifold and weld prep strengthening plate
Drill and bush cylinder steam holes
Drill and tap (or bush) water filler hole
Drill and tap (or bush) injector feed water inlet
Openings into Smokebox (easier to do before welding))
Chimney hole
Holes for two rings of rivets
Perch bracket holes
Blower bush (if not through chimney saddle)
Compensation Plate
Drill and tap cylinder holes
Smokebox tubeplate
Weld Prep circumference
Drill and ream tubeplate holes
Inner Wrapper
Bend to shape
Drill stay holes in sides and top (6)
Chamfer inside of holes
Drill and tap hole for fusible plug
Firebox tubeplate
Weld prep top and sides (outer edge)
Drill and ream tubeplate holes
Drill and inside chamfer stay hole
Backplate
Cut hole for door ring
Weld prep door ring hole (inside)
Drill and internal chamfer stay hole
Backhead
Cut hole for door ring
Weld Prep door hole (outer edge)
Weld prep sides, bottom and curved top of backhead (outer edge)
Drill and external chamfer stay hole
Drill and tap 4 steam ports plus sightglass holes
ThroatPlate
Weld prep bottom and curved top (outer edge)
Drill and chamfer stay hole (outside)
Drill and tap IP holes
Right Side Outer Wrapper
Weld prep top, bottom and front edges (outside)
Drill and external chamfer 2 stay holes
Drill and tap any IP or drain holes
Left Side Outer Wrapper
Weld prep top, bottom and front edge (outside)
Drill and external chamfer 2 stay holes
Drill and tap any IP or drain holes
Foundation Ring
Weld prep bottom inside edge
